At the heart of Artemis Ranch & Retreat is our founder Ty Eggemeyer and his wife Leslie - visionaries whose passion for land stewardship, conservation, and the incredible wildlife and flora of Texas Hill Country drives everything we do. Balancing the demands of leading two successful businesses—a shooting range in Pittsburgh and a construction company in Houston—Ty knows the meaning of hard work.
Yet, his greatest joy comes not from the hustle but from the quiet moments at Artemis Ranch. Guiding guests on tours of the property and seeing their awe-inspired reactions is where Ty finds true fulfillment. These moments allow him to pause, take in the stunning landscapes, and appreciate the serene beauty of the land—a treasured escape from the demands of a busy life. The Lodge, a sprawling 13,000-square-foot masterpiece, boasts two primary suites, a private bar, and 11 en-suite bathrooms, ensuring the utmost comfort and elegance for your stay.
Absolutely. At Artemis Ranch, our dedicated team of seasoned professionals ensures every detail of your stay is seamless. From planning to execution, our experienced staff will assist you with coordinating events, arranging activities, and accommodating your needs to create an unforgettable experience.
At Artemis Ranch, our overnight guest capacity varies, accommodating between 28 to 35+ people, including children. The Lodge offers 11 bedrooms, including two luxurious master suites, for up to 22 guests. Rollaway beds for children can be made available. The Cottage adds 3 more bedrooms for an additional 6 guests. In total, we can host a maximum of 40 guests, making it convenient for parents to bring children with the option of rollaway beds.

Most of our ranch adventures are open to guests of all ages, ensuring everyone can enjoy the fun. However, please note that certain upcoming activities such as clay sports shooting and Wine and Bourbon Tasting will have age restrictions for participation.
Your stay includes access to most activities, such as stargazing, bird watching, giraffe feeding, hiking, biking, and fishing. For campfire s'mores and picnics, you may bring your own, or make sure to book the add-on prior to arrival so we can prepare.
